On June 2, 2023, the Chinese Academy of Sciences transferred Sun Licheng and Xie Xiaoliang from foreign academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Charter of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" and the "Interim Measures for the Conversion of Foreign Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences".
